In brief<\/p>\n

We agree in advance which people, documents, screens, number plates and company information may be shown. Many issues can be avoided by preparing the location properly<\/a>. Anything that is still visible can be made unreadable or removed during editing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

First: hiding someone technically does not make publication automatically lawful<\/h2>\n\n\n

Before publication, check whether you are allowed to show identifiable people for this purpose. Blurring or editing an image does not automatically make it suitable for publication. The Dutch Data Protection Authority explains the responsibilities organisations have<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Faces of staff and visitors<\/h2>\n\n\n

Faces remain visible or are blurred, depending on the situation and what we agree in advance. At a busy location, it can help to photograph certain spaces at a quieter time. Discuss the shoot internally as well, so staff know what will happen on the day.<\/p>\n\n\n

Number plates and vehicles<\/h2>\n\n\n

We make number plates unreadable as standard whenever vehicles are visible in the tour, both indoors and outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n

Documents, screens and other sensitive information<\/h2>\n\n\n

Check screens, whiteboards, planning boards, documents and labels in advance. Do they show customer details, passwords, schedules, prices or other confidential information? We can remove or switch them off, blur them, or edit them out afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n

What if we use AI to edit something?<\/h2>\n\n\n

We can blur, remove or edit faces and confidential information with AI if agreed. We then check the whole image again, as someone may also be identifiable by clothing, a name badge or their surroundings. An edited face must never suggest that a different real person was at the location.<\/p>\n\n\n

Why you receive a draft first<\/h2>\n\n\n

You receive a draft of the tour first, so you can check these details before it goes live. We process your feedback until the tour is complete and ready for final delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n

What if you spot something later?<\/h2>\n\n\n

We can also update an existing tour. If something needs to be made unreadable later, we will change it. Do you have a location with sensitive areas or active business processes? We will discuss the right approach in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n
