This virtual Christmas market was created exclusively for our client and is not publicly accessible. This video offers a brief look behind the scenes.

Choosing a gift at a virtual market

We created several virtual Christmas and spring markets for More Than Gifts. Employees receive a personal invitation and can enter a market designed for their employer from home.

Visitors walk past the stalls, view the decorations and open the sections that interest them. Choosing a gift begins with a visit to a market, rather than a long list of products.

Visitors enter the More Than Gifts virtual spring market through this entrance.

A complete webshop behind the market

In the final version, each employee receives a personal access code. This shows the products and budget made available by their employer. After making a choice, the gift is delivered to their home or workplace.

The webshop is not visible in the public demo tour. The market provides the atmospheric entrance; products, prices, personal credit and orders are processed behind the scenes.

Visitors choose which stalls to explore and which items to open.

There is something happening at the market

The environment consists of more than still images. At various points, visitors can open a video, game or other activity. More Than Gifts can add a personal message, quiz or bingo session, for example.

The campfires have also been brought to life. Visitors see the flames and smoke move and hear the fire burning. We placed video and sound recordings at the correct positions in the 360° environment.

Alongside the gift stalls, there is space for music, games and other activities.

A new market without starting again

A Christmas market has a different atmosphere, a spring market a different setting, and the message and gift selection can be adapted for each employer. The familiar way of using the market remains the same.

This allows More Than Gifts to reuse a market while adapting it to the season and client. New products, videos and activities can be added without rebuilding the entire environment.
