One collaboration across many locations
We created the first UPS tours for locations in the Netherlands. Projects in Germany, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Italy, Canada and the United States followed. A single assignment thus grew into an international collection of virtual tours.
In the Netherlands, locations in Amsterdam, Venlo and Roermond are included. Outside the Netherlands, examples include Coventry, Dunstable, Tamworth, Munich, Frankfurt, Hanover, Budapest and several locations in North America.
From logistics to healthcare
Niet iedere UPS-locatie heeft dezelfde functie. De tours laten distributiecentra, warehouses, freight-forwardinglocaties en healthcareomgevingen zien. De indeling, schaal en techniek verschillen per gebouw. Iedere rondleiding sluit daarom aan op de locatie en het doel waarvoor hij wordt gebruikt.
Bij UPS Healthcare in Louisville begint de rondleiding met een overzicht van het gebouw. Binnen zijn onder andere opslagruimtes, stellingen en geconditioneerde zones te bekijken. Zo krijgt een bezoeker een veel vollediger beeld dan met een serie losse foto’s.
Een recente healthcarelocatie in Italië
The tour for UPS Healthcare in Somaglia shows how the same approach works at a new international location. The visit starts outside with an overview of the building. Visitors can then explore the reception area and the large warehouse, among other spaces.
All locations clearly organised in one place
As the number of tours grows, visitors should not have to search through separate links. The European locations are therefore brought together in a central UPS Virtual Tour Repository. Visitors choose a country, business unit and location, then start the right tour from there.
