247TailorSteel supplies laser-cut sheet metal and tubing. This virtual tour takes visitors inside its Varsseveld site, from the main entrance to the production and dispatch halls.

A look behind the factory gates

A production facility is not always easy for clients and other interested visitors to access. Machines keep running, safety matters and work takes place across several halls. A virtual tour lets people look around at their own pace.

The tour starts outside at the main entrance. The menu takes visitors straight to sheet-metal laser cutting, bending, dispatch, tube laser cutting and the loading docks. This provides a broad picture of the site without requiring a fixed route.

Several halls in one clear tour

The factory has large spaces with long production lines, storage racks and specialised machines. Visitors can look in every direction from each viewpoint. This makes the scale of the building and the distances between areas much clearer than individual photographs.

The navigation keeps the tour easy to follow. Visitors interested in a particular process can jump straight to the relevant hall. Others can follow the full route and explore the factory step by step.

360-degree photography in an industrial setting

We took 360-degree photographs at several points in and around the building. Straight lines, large machines and lighting are important parts of a factory image. We chose viewpoints that keep the spaces easy to understand.

We then connected the images into one online tour. It opens through a regular link on a computer, tablet or phone and is easy to share.

Why this approach works

  • Customers can explore the production halls without entering the factory floor.
  • Laser cutting, bending, dispatch and loading docks are directly accessible from the menu.
  • Large machines and the space around them can be viewed together.

Put the production process in context

From sheet material to dispatch, the tour connects the different halls in Varsseveld. It shows where the work takes place and the scale of the production environment.
