Choosing a new school takes more than a brochure. Pupils want to see how the building feels, where people meet and what the classrooms look like. This virtual tour lets pupils and parents explore Amstelveen College at their own pace before visiting.
A first impression before the open day
The tour starts outside the main entrance and continues to the entrance area, reception and central hall. Visitors immediately see the route pupils take every school day, then choose which space to explore next.
The assembly hall and coffee bar are included too. These are important places where pupils take breaks and meet. Looking around freely reveals the layout, atmosphere and space between the different parts of the building.

From art room to science lab
A school contains many different spaces. This tour includes rooms for art, technology, computing and music, as well as sports halls and science labs. It gives a much more complete picture than a series of separate photographs.
In the science lab, for example, visitors can examine the workbenches and microscopes. Other classrooms show how the workspaces are arranged and how much room is available. This helps prospective pupils imagine a school day at Amstelveen College.
Explore the school yourself
For this project, we photographed the school from many fixed points, then connected the images into one clear route. Visitors can look around on a phone, tablet or computer and explore the school at their own pace.
The virtual tour is useful around open days and remains available afterwards. Anyone wanting another look at a room can use the menu to go straight there.
Why this approach works
- Parents and pupils can follow the route from the main entrance in advance.
- Subject classrooms, science labs and sports halls can be explored at your own pace.
- After an open day, you can return to a room you would like to see again.
Get a feel for the setting of a school day
The assembly hall, coffee bar and practical classrooms show where pupils spend their day. The introduction is about the places where they will learn and meet, as well as the subjects they study.
