For Post-Plaza Hotel and Grand Café in Leeuwarden, we created a virtual tour of the building. Guests can explore the Grand Café, visit the coffee roastery and view a hotel room online.
A first impression before visiting
A few separate photographs struggle to convey the atmosphere of a hotel or restaurant. In a virtual tour, visitors choose where to look. At Post-Plaza, they immediately see the high ceilings, large windows, seating areas and artwork on the wall.
From the Grand Café, visitors can continue to other parts of the building. The menu takes them straight to another area of the café, the coffee roastery, passageway or a hotel room. This keeps the tour easy to follow, even for someone interested in just one space.

Grand Café, coffee and hotel in one route
The tour shows different sides of Post-Plaza. White arches, warm colours and varied seating stand out in the Grand Café. One floor above, visitors reach the coffee roastery, where the balustrade also provides a view of the space below.
The hotel room completes the tour. Guests can see the layout, bed, workspace and windows before booking or arriving. It provides a clear way to align expectations with the actual location.
Photography and tour development
We took 360-degree photographs at several points in the building, then connected them into one route. Visitors can look around freely, move forwards and backwards or choose a place directly from the menu. Post-Plaza can share the tour through a regular link and use it on its own website.
Why this approach works
- The Grand Café, coffee roastery and a hotel room can be explored in one tour.
- The height of the space and connection between floors remain visible.
- Guests can go directly to the space that matters for their visit.
See more of Post-Plaza than the hotel room
The Grand Café and coffee roastery are part of the stay too. Including them alongside a hotel room shows the different reasons people might visit Post-Plaza.
