For Snoeks Automotive we created a virtual tour of a vehicle interior. Visitors sit inside the vehicle digitally and can open components such as dashboard compartments. This makes the experience far more interactive than a standard interior photo.
Explore a vehicle interior in 360 degrees
How do you show a vehicle interior to someone who is not standing beside it? A single photo shows one selected view. In this virtual tour of the Volkswagen Multivan, visitors choose where to look. The dashboard, front seats, doors and the space between them remain part of the same view. Visitors can examine a detail and then zoom out to see the whole interior again.
For Snoeks Automotive, we photographed the interior and added interactive parts. Visitors can click the marked areas to open storage compartments. The presentation shows the design and how particular parts of the vehicle are used.
Every detail from the driver’s seat
A vehicle interior is all about space, sightlines, finishes and smart storage. In 360 degrees, visitors can look around and see how every part relates to the rest of the interior.
The steering wheel, instrument panel and central screen are clearly visible in the front of the Multivan. The storage compartments on the passenger side and lower down in the dashboard also receive attention. These are the kinds of details that can easily be missed in an overview photo taken from outside.
Operable components make the difference
The interactive elements encourage visitors to keep exploring. Compartments and other components can be clicked, so visitors not only see the interior but also discover how it is used.
Visitors can see the storage compartments both closed and open. This shows where each compartment is and how much space is available behind its lid. The action takes place within the same view of the interior, so visitors do not have to work out which part a separate detail photo belongs to.
A view of the partition and cargo area
The tour includes a separate viewpoint in the cargo area. From here, visitors can see the upholstered partition and its window, with the passenger compartment beyond. This shows a different part of the vehicle from the dashboard and helps explain the layout of the Multivan.
Bringing the front compartment and cargo area together in one presentation lets visitors explore both in sequence. The tour provides a visual impression of the layout, finish and connection between the different parts of the vehicle.

An interactive product presentation for automotive
This project shows how an interactive virtual tour can also present a product. Visitors can look around at their own pace and choose which details to explore. When discussing a vehicle interior, this provides a shared visual reference: people can point out and examine the same part, even when they are not together beside the vehicle.
Why this approach works
- You view the finish and layout from inside the vehicle.
- Storage compartments can be clicked and viewed open.
- A separate viewpoint shows the load area and partition.
An interior you can explore for yourself
Small interactions make the difference. Opening a compartment and moving into the load area reveals not only how the Multivan looks, but how its interior is arranged.
